Description:
Jim Woodruff, MD, Vice Chair of Education, together with Dr. Joe G.N. “Skip” Garcia, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, created a scholarship fund for two URM students per year at Pritzker. The fund provides $10,000 in scholarship support for each student for 4 years. In addition, these students will be provided with mentorship and guidance by the members of the Diversity Committee as well as the entire Department of Medicine.
